This very site: six pages, each with its own address and its own scene computed on the graphics card, and a translator that runs inside the visitor’s own browser.
What it is
A developer’s portfolio is an awkward case: it is both the list of works and one of the works. So everything claimed here can be checked by looking around: the site is built the way the things it shows are built, and any sentence about quality can be checked on the spot.
Six pages, each with its own address and its own scene computed on the graphics card: water, caustics, a lattice you fly through, a working network, film, waves. There is one canvas for all six — recreating it on every navigation would mean a second and a half of black. When motion is stopped, the canvas stops computing frames altogether instead of drawing the same picture forever.
Specifications: Next.js, React Three Fiber and hand-written shaders, a static build with no server — it drops onto GitHub Pages or any file host alike. Two languages are written by hand, and any other language is translated by the visitor’s own browser on their own machine: nothing typed or read here goes anywhere. The checks run with one command and include a live walk over every page in a real browser.
