A desktop panel over the content factory: what is published, what is about to go out, on which brand and at what time in the viewer’s day.
What it is
Automation that runs on a server has one common flaw: you cannot see it. It either works silently or stays silent, and from the outside those look the same. The panel makes it visible: one window where it is immediately clear what has gone out, what is queued, on which brand and exactly when it will appear.
The time shown is the viewer’s, not the server’s, and that is not a detail. A post scheduled by server time goes out at three in the morning for half the audience; you only notice from the counters a week later, when the numbers are already spoiled. The panel converts the schedule into the time zone of each brand’s audience.
Specifications: Python on the panel side, systemd as the service watchdog on the server, Telegram for alerts. It ran together with the content factory and was frozen with it: a panel without the factory has no point.
